How to identify a JumpStart [TM] image patched with Netra [TM] X1 Patches

To jumpstart the Netra[TM] X1 from a Solaris[TM] 8 (10/00 - 10/01) image, the jumpstart image has to be modified with the Netra X1 MIS (Modify Install Server) script, which can be downloaded from:

Following are the patches applied by the two different MIS scripts:

Patches included with mis.netra-x1.259-3836-02.zip

108528-06  108974-09  110208-08  110693-01 

108664-06  109793-06  110383-01  111092-01 

Patches included with mis.netra-x1.259-3836-03.zip

108528-06  108974-09  110208-09  110693-01 

108664-06  109793-07  110383-01  111092-02 

Note: Patches will not be applied to the image by the script if higher revisions of the patches already exist on the image.

The above list of patches on the jumpstart image can be verified as follows:

# patchadd -R /image_path/Solaris_8/Tools/Boot -p | cut -d: -f2 | cut -c1-10

The above command will list all the patches on the jumpstart image including the netra X1 patches.

Note: Patch 110208 will not display with the above command. To determine if this patch is applied check

the Patches directory on the image at /image_path/Solaris_8/Patches
