Netra 240 Codename: Enchilada 19

Notes

  1. The minimum operating system is Solaris 8 7/03.
  2. ALOM code is available at www.sun.com/download under Systems Administration.
  3. The JBUS clock is 160MHz and the Memory clock is 128MHz with 1.280GHz CPUs.

Memory Notes

  1. Bank, Rank, DIMM, and XOR Interleaving is supported.
  2. UltraSPARC IIIi supports single bank and dual bank DDR DIMMs.
  3. Two DIMMs of the same bank size (single or dual) and memory size form a bank.
  4. The minimum requirement is two DIMMs in any Bank (B0/D0/D1 or B1/D0/D1).
  5. Only CPU 0 DIMMs are access1ble in a single CPU system (CPU 0).
  6. Memory is mapped globally and is access1ble by either CPU in a dual-CPU system.
  7. Each processor interfaces with its own dedicated block of DDR-1 SDRAM DIMMs.
  8. Memory error reporting identifies a failing Bank, not a single failing DIMM.

Motherboard Notes

  1. Motherboard 375-3148 is without Memory or UltraSPARC IIIi.
  2. Motherboard 375-3246 is without Memory or UltraSPARC IIIi.
  3. The FRUs include Motherboard (375-3148 or 375-3246) and US IIIi with Fan/Heatsink 370-5126.
  4. Remove the Fan from the Heatsink prior to System Board installation.
  5. Motherboard replacement requires a 3/16 Hex driver, #2 Phillips driver, and a Minus driver with a maximum thickness of 0.660 mm (0.026").
