Notes

1. Two functional power supplies are required for system operation.
2. The third power supply provides fail over protection.
3. Hot-plug requires a running Solaris operating system.
4. Hot-plug is not supported from the OBP ok prompt.
5. Rapid seating and unseating will cause false error messages.

Wiring Notes

1. V890 PDB 375-3173 is not compatible with the Sun Fire V880.
2. V890 PDB 375-3173 connector P7A has 18 pins and connector P7B has 6 pins.
3. V890 Cable 530-3285 has two PDB connectors and two System Board connectors.
4. V880 Cable 530-2816 is not compatible with V890 Cable 530-3285.
   V880 Cable 530-2816 has one PDB connector and two System Board connectors.
