About the Sun System Handbook CDROM, Version 1.0

Well, we finally did it. The idea for creating an Enterprise Services specific version of the FE Handbook has been around for years. I found a receptive audience last year when Tae Kim, my manager, and Ken Kadonaga, his manager, agreed to let me do an enhanced version of the FE Handbook. Tae brought his enthusiasm and vision to the project, and he assembled a fantastic team of Knowledge Engineers: Paul Kasper, Gary Milliken and Bill Shearer. Nine months later, the Sun System Handbook was born.

Of course, we had a lot of help, so we would like to thank the many individuals who made this possible. If I have left anyone out, please accept my apologies.
